Spinnaker Creates Website for Greensburg, Kansas

Greensburg, KS, 05/19/07-In an effort to improve communication to citizens and to those interested in assisting with the tornado recovery effort, the city of Greensburg, Kansas, has launched a new web site.  The new web site address is www.greensburgks.org. 

Citizens of Greensburg and Kiowa County, Kansas, will be able access information on recovery efforts, current city and county services, debris clean-up, rebuilding procedures, upcoming meetings, events, and how to access recovery resources.  The web site also has information for anyone wanting to assist in the recovery through donations, service, or other essential areas of needs.  Additional functionalities will include information on businesses and other rebuilding efforts.

The website  has been developed through the donated efforts of Spinnaker, LLC, a Topeka-based web development company.

“It is our pleasure to do something that helps Greensburg and Kiowa County in their efforts to rebuild and thrive in the future,” said Mike Burgess, president of Spinnaker and a member of the Kansas House of Representatives.

Burgess added “The site will be a great tool to provide information as well as a number of e-government services as the rebuilding effort progresses for the city.”
